Alfie doesn't like clothes either, though with it getting colder here I've been putting t-shirts on them at night for warmth. Try putting it on the floor first and letting your pup sniff it and see its not anything to be afraid of, maybe it feels strange when its put over the head. Alfie does'nt like having his leggs manouvoured into the arms so I take it slowley. First his head, wait till he relaxes, then I put one hand through the arm, lift his foot and hold until he relaxes, when he does he gets lots of praise, then repeat for the other legg. Stay calm and be patient. Alfie still curls his lip but quickly stops and doesn't try to bite anymore. |
