Do you think the dew claw will get infected? The vet who did Zoey's last litter did a great job- no blood very small wound but this vet left a LARGE open wound still bleeding when we left and like I mentioned before I had to clean it and seal it w/ super glue to get it to stop. Stupid me believed the vet when she said it would stop bleeding- it bled for over an hour and then eventually clotted just to start bleeding again a few hours later at that point I grabbed the glue.
Zoey is doing better with eating now so now all I really am a little concerned about is the pup's dew claw wound. |
Why were the dew claws already done? Usually not done between 3 and 5 days.....However, bleeding can be stopped with Silver Nitrate sticks and or liquid bandage. Dew claws and tails are done at the same time.
