Hello!

Ive been reading the forum for sometime and somehow over a few months lost my account but anyways I have 2 10 month old yorkies that are really having an issue with potty training.

I walk them all the time and they get most of it outside, however, we have not gotten them nutered and they have to mark all over the place.

My main question is, how often do you give them water every day. Right now we have water out all the time. my wife believes that dogs should have access to water all the time all day long. I think they should only drink water 3-4 times per day. However, I can't find anything that would lead either one of us to be correct.

Personally I think that if i can control their water intake to 4-5 times per day I can know when they need to use the bathroom and take them outside. otherwise they dont need to be drinking water all the time.

has anyone else had a similar experience or know of any information about how much a 4lb yorkie should drink?
