Actually it's free to copyright a bow. When you make a bow and it's your artistic work it is automatically copyrighted. If you want to register it with the copyright office it's pretty inexpensive. None of that really means anything though. Only someone mean would sue someone whom they believe to be infringing upon their copyrighted bow.
