What a great idea to donate to a rescue
My boys have been on the lamb for about a year now. They love it, never get tired of it and look really good! I got a little lazy and didn't feed it for a little while and Ranger gained some weight on his kibble, little porker
I wouldn't worry about feeding one protein source. I know a lot of people rotate to prevent allergies, but one problem with that is if allergies to develop, you won't have any novel protein sources to introduce. I figure I'll feed lamb until I have to change (my vet and I compromised- he was concerned about raw like many are, but felt better about raw if it wasn't poultry. Whatev). Anyway, Ryder got sick a month ago when I was feeding strictly kibble and I was glad because he couldn't blame the raw!
Anyway, I completely hate that NV sourced their meat from China. I am glad I'm not alone in that, lol!
Viv- hope Snick is doing well, I haven't been on much and missed his surgery! So sorry!
