I feel the same as you unfortunately. Some comments that I've read sound really snobby, although I don't know if that is how the poster intended it to be. I don't know why there is that kind of prejudice really. Max is a yorkipoo. From what I've read, mixed breeds tend to have less congenital problems. I've also read that certain breeds were bred to give people with allergies more options in owning a dog.

I adopted Max from a rescue and I don't care if he's not AKC registered or can't enter a dog show or whatever else....He has a special place in my heart and I love him to pieces. Recently there was another post on here and I saw a few other mixed yorkie breed owners responding..I was so thrilled to see that I wasn't the only one. I also joined the group "mix it up".
