My girls temp. dropped really low yesterday (hours before whelping), but I was told it was dangerously too low when I saw it was 97.7. When it gets below 98 degrees, it's an indication of shock. I'd contact your vet to see what he/she thinks. Luckily, Maya's temp. went back up almost as soon as it dropped. But this was just the beginning of problems to come. Ah, are we glad that part is over. Whew!
