I'm looking for some venison now as it's been awhile since they've had that! I do on occassion buy Natures Variety. It is more expensive but sometimes I like it just for convenience. It's easy to pop a medallion out of the freezer and it will thaw pretty quickly. When I buy NV though, I buy the big tubes then I thaw it and I press it into a mini muffin pan I have and I make my own medallions. I freeze them and then put them into a baggie and then it's easy to pop just a couple out to feed in an hour. Hope that makes sense!
Oh - and here are some of my favorite rawfeeding sites
The Many Myths of Raw Feeding
RawChat : Raw Chat
rawfeeding : Raw Feeding for dogs and cats!
Thanks for the info. I will definately checking out the sites. I have 3 very different dogs (80lbs. 40lbs. 6lbs.) and feel that the medallions are too pricey for all of them. I am going to try and find a butcher areound me. Do i just aske them for meaty bones, etc???
