Default Any tips for getting my puppy to eat more?

So we went to visit a new vet this weekend (eye infection, we got some drops and we're doing great) and she let me know that my puppy is a little underweight. She's 8 months old and hasn't lost any weight at all so I was definitely surprised to hear this (She weighs 4.5lbs). Especially since my regular vet has never said anything to me and he's been seeing her since I got her 5 months ago.
I'm not sure if she's a picky eater or just has a little tummy but it's always been really hard to get her to eat. We've tried 3 different brands of food in 5 months.
I started with Acana Prairie Harvest (grain-free) and had recurring diarrhea.
Tried Eukanuba for awhile, did alright with it but I'm not a big fan of the ingredients.
Right now we're doing Wellness Small Breed and it seems to be the best for her so far. She eats more of it and no digestive problems! Plus her coat looks and feels great. But she does need to gain some weight and be eating more of it.
The vet recommended mixing in some wet food to get her more interested in eating and I tried that yesterday and today. I got a few cans of Wellness and mixed that in. It worked yesterday but not so much today.
Has anyone else had a problem like this?
Even if you haven't, any advice would be appreciated!
