Welcome to YT and congrats on your soon-to-be new addition. Please don't think badly of anyone here for the advice they are giving you regarding being cautious with your new little one. Everyone is just trying to help you out by giving you as much info as possible. (IMO, too much info is better than not enough.) Educating one's self on the breed FIRST is a great way to prepare for bringing one into your home, but there is so much to learn that vital info can be overlooked. (Like the taboo associated with the term "teacup"--such a big deal that it's kind of hard to overlook. )
Try to remember that most of the members here have been around Yorkies for quite a while and are more accustomed to the problems that can arise with them, expecially little ones. Many of the members here have seen and experienced their fair share of heartache with these little guys. No one is second guessing your ability to handle your new little one, just trying to give you some helpful pointers that many first time Yorkie owners are unaware of.

Best of luck! Can't wait to see pics of your new furball.
