I was shocked as well that the vet would say that. I pretty much let them work it out themselves. I can't reward her for sitting in front of the doggie door and not letting him in. But I did see him do it to her for the first time the other night. My spouse will tell her "bad girl" when he catches her biting Buster's back legs (he has LP), not sure why, but she really goes for his back legs.
