It definitely does!

Males who are unaltered tend to mark (lift their leg), wander more
searching for a female in heat, hump more, be a bit more rambunctious. If you do not neuter young
enough then those behaviors already learned such as marking may be engraved forever.
I would definitely recommend netering before at least 8 mo. of age but that's just my opinion.
I say do your research and find out the benefits/cons. IMO, I think the pros outweigh the cons.
