I have one boy and one girl Yorkie. Buster will be 2 next month, Maggie was 1 in Sept. She is the dominant dog. She is always taking things away from Buster and stalking him. She weighs about one pound more than him. The vet said that when she fights with him or picks on him, I should tell her "good girl, good dog" and tell Buster "bad boy, bad dog". He said they would then learn their place. I can't do that. Buster is soooo sweet and loyal, I don't think I can say that. Anyway, it's been a trip with the two of them. We have had Maggie a year now and she has not given up tormenting Buster. When he gets his fill he will come sit in my lap. So I don't know, that's the take on male and female at my house!
