 7 Puppies! How soon to wean?
Hi my Stella has had 7 puppies!!!! It was her first litter, she birthed with no trouble at all. Ive been feeding her 4 x small meals a day, along with goats milk. the pups are thriving, and are real fat little things. How soon can i start to wean the pups who are 2 weeks and 2 days old, eyes are open and they are very active and weeing on training mat already! I just want to help mum out as she is quite scratched on her teats (ive gently filed the pups nails) but feel sorry for Stella, who is a very good mum.
Your views would be much appreciated regarding weaning earlier.
