When Zekie got neutered, he had one undecended testicle so he had two incisions. They sewed him up with catgut, and I was really glad because of how active he is and was. They did not send any pain meds. home with him, but he never seemed to be in any pain. We held him for two days mostly because it took him a while to totally come out of the anithesia (sp) and we wanted to make sure that he did not lick his stitches. He never bothered his stitches and after two days was jumping and bouncing all over the place.
