Default Baxter!!!

Baxter is GREAT! How cute!

You won't roll over on him. It will be like sleeping with a baby, and I mean seriously, he'll be close to you. At first you'll be nervous but eventually yo'll adjust...LOL

The crate training thing is not for me. I know some people swear by it, but I don't like the idea of cages. Especially when sometimes puppies came from a caged life. But I would think you can use it at night and keep it next to your bed to make him feel secure. I would use it during the day (if you work) but I'd put it in an area so he can come out to eat and play (closed off with a baby gate and place a potty pad in a corner) I would place the potty pad in a dog litter box to keep it in place and for when he starts lifting his leg. I'd also get the size box that allows the pad to lay flat and that gives him more room.

I bought a play pen (I like the open top) and will use it when I get my baby for times that I need to confine her in the house, and when I travel. I am blessed I will be home with her everyday, so I intend to seriously watch her for potty training. I also will be using a potty box with pad, because there are days when I know I won't want to go outside right away (storms and cold weather) so she will have the best of both, indoor potty and outside.

For sleeping I know we will have the play pen in our room in the beginning, but I guarantee she will be in the bed with us. He already knows this and that is that! She will be spoiled, loved and nurtured, in a very good way. She will also attend obedient school, because I plan to pack her with me at every possible place I can bring or sneak her in too. She will be my real road dog...LOL
