So far this particular one seems harmless, it's not for fleas or ticks or any kind of medicated, just for washing only.

I went ahead and tried this as the ingredients didn't show anything out of ordinary in comparison to other dog shampoo ingredients, she did 100% fine and I have been monitoring her skin just to be sure. Next time I will get another kind just to get out of this brand but so far it seems ok. I don't want to continue using Hartz if it is such a disasterous brand as something might come up that is bad and I'd never want to put my dog in danger.
Hartz got a bad name because some of the flea shampoos weren't safe, but I think you're ok with this. I think they are overpriced, but I wouldn't use a human shampoo, human hair has a different pH and is much more acid than dog's hair. Yorkies are said to have hair not fur, but this just refers to the single coat, which is like humans, however their hair is much more alkaline, and you want to use a product that matches the skin/hair, you are shampooing. Joey's breeder recommended Biogroom, and if you email the company they will send you a free sample of several of their products. Remember, the samples are highly concentrated and you should add one part of product to 4 parts of water. Bio-Groom - Exceptional Pet Care Products for Over 30 Years
