My yorkie is FINALLY four pounds, and the breeder said Cozmo will reach abour four pounds when hes full grown. I know a LOT about breeding yorkies, ive been researching since my girl was about four months old but now i still need to know the things they need to not hav to breed and stuff.
There IS a lot to know before breeding, and the research you are doing is a great first step, Nothing is better than firsthand experience with and advice from a good mentor. Your girl and the sire sound young to me. At 3 months old, it is difficult, if not impossible to tell if he is a suitable stud dog. Aside from any blood tests or exams, there are some things only maturation will reveal. Most reputable breeders will not breed a 4 pound bitch and not on her second heat (she is still kinda young). Just my opinion since you have come to this forum for advice.
