I am so sorry for your loss. I think it would help you heal to have another one to give love to. We did the same thing a few months ago...we gave her more freedom, and I was sitting at my desk and she was at my feet and licked the outlet. Her little tongue must have just gone in right, and she yelped and flew backward. I had never seen anything like it. She was fine, but after that we watched her like a hawk. As much as we love them, sometimes accidents happen. Don't blame yourself, you loved her. Thank you for the reminder. You very well saved others from this.
