 Update
Well come to find out Happy had a fungal ear infection. (Yeast infection of her ears) So one week of meds and she should be ok. But boy was I surprised when they weighed her and she was 3.9 lbs at 10 wks. I'm thinking she is going to be really big. Also vet wants me to take her off puppy food since it is higher in fat and switch her to adult weight mamagement food since she seems to be a little "chunky" for her height he said. She's only allowed 1 T of dry food 3 times a day to get her used to not gorging herself. Man what a piggy. But other than that no probs. He checked her for luxating patellas and he said she was good and had a great bite. So that made my day!!! Overall pretty happy with the new vet. Thanks everyone for your concern!! I appreciate that you guys are there to help us that sometimes don't know whats wrong and give advice! You all are great! |
