I was just diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my lower back with early Spondylolysis (Constriction of my peripheral nerves that come off of my spinal cord). I do not know what it is like to NOT be in pain and have suffered from it for about 15 years. I am only 25!!!!!
I have gone through the first round of bilateral epidural injections. I had no improvement. It is looking like I will have to have surgery as well.
Who do I want around when I am pent up in the house recooping? My Zoey girl of course!
She is like my child and knows when I am sick. Dogs are the greatest when you are sick. I'm sure if they could they would get you soup and sprite to drink lol!!
Tell them to back off. I am sure they spend money on indulgences...Who are they to judge!!
Have you seen the stuff people buy for their human children? Do what makes you happy and what you love!
