Hi, I work full time and look after my mom who has back problems too, and like you people feel like they have the right to comment on my choice to have dogs because of the time they take up. They tell me '' dont I have enough to do already?' My dogs get me out of the house for a much needed break when I take them for their walk. They keep me fit and make me laugh. I dont drink and dont have time for meals out so if I choose to spend my money on my babies thats my buisness. When I nask them how much money they .waste' on alcahol each week I point out my dogs dont cost anywhere near that and it quickly shuts them up, except the ones who of course who think I should ditch the dogs, go out, get drunk every weekend and take up smoking. People always think the way they live their lives is right that way its easy for them to justify what they do. I say I dont tell you how to live your life so dont tell me how to live mine. |
