They did BUN and creatine and her results were so high they didn't even register at the regular vets machine. I took her to a nephrologist and an ultrasound showed her kidneys had not developed hardly at all and her kidney function was 17%. We tried meds (6) but her kidneys were just not developed enough and she didn't make it. This was an extreme case and not common. So many minor reasons can account for clear urine but I would definitley get the urine tests and BUN and Creatine if it is happening all the time and you want peace of mind.
