I pay $25.00 plus tip for a puppy cut with all the works for my 7lb Yorkie. My groomer charges $35.00 for larger dogs. She does a great job and listens to what I want. I have gone to goomers who just do what they want. While recently attending puppy training class, another Yorkie was taken to a groomer, by his owner, that did a terrible job and they ended up having to go to another groomer and have every bit of hair from the tip of his nose to the end of her tail shaved off and they are starting over.
