I was having this same problem for weeks...
You need to get a clean sample for the vet so that the Specific Gravity of the urine can be tested, this tells how concentrated the urine is.
There are also other tests that can be done to try and pinpoint a condition.
It can be caused by kidney problems, cystic kidneys, a liver shunt, MVA, a bacterial infection, etc, etc... there are really so many different things it can be from very minor issues to more serious problems.
If this is going on all the time you really need to vet the dog.
To the previous poster, if it is kidney problems it would be happening all the time. If your puppy is only peeing clear every once and awhile it is probably caused by drinking too much. |
