Will you be getting it? Why or why not?
I don't think I'll be getting it- for a few reasons. It is a very new vaccine and was produced rather quickly- I just haven't seen enough studies done on it. I tend to react to vaccines and I don't really need that again. I don't usually get the regular flu vaccine as my doctor says I don't need it and I'm sure she would say the same about this one. I just plan to use an alcohol based hand sanitizer and wash my hands frequently. |
Our doctor said he would not even give it to his own family so he would not give it to us. He gave my husband the regular flu shot. I don't get flu shots. The last one I got gave me the flu. I did not leave home after getting the shot and it turned into pneumonia and I was in the hospital on oxygen for about 3 weeks.
In all honesty, people get the flu and die yearly. The swine flu is not any different, they just gave it a name and make LOTS more money getting people to the doctor and making headlines with it. :-)
