Yorkies do bark and some never do really stop! It is especially a problem if they hear noises, which they definitely will hear if there is a hallway where other people walk. If this is going to be a deal breaker, please think long and hard about getting a yorkie or any pup for that matter. If it did not work out, it will be so sad for everyone, most especially the yorkie. I see this kind of thing happen a lot.
Maybe you should speak with your neighbors about whether or not it would bother them?
