WOW my story is somewhat similar to yours. My little 2 1/2 year old Jada is a rehomed retired breeder also. I got her through my daughter in law(vet tech) from a breeder who uses the vet she works for. She had trouble with her pregnancy and had to have a c-section and so her breeder retired her. I feel so lucky to have her. I think it is great when you can give these older dogs a good home. She is my baby and I can't imagine our lives without her. I can't wait to see pics of your furbutts.
Her little brother Bogie is a rehome from the same breeder. He was going to be her stud to her biewers and she wasn't happy with his markings or something, but we were so tickled to get him when he was just 9 mos old. We just wanted pets to love not show dogs.
