If your puppy likes your mom's dog food, don't worry that it is adult. If she likes to eat it that's great and it won't hurt her. You can also buy supplements to add to it that she probably won't know are there. My small Morkie went through the not wanting to eat phase and it's frustrating. I don't know how many kinds we went through. Sometimes she would like the Cesar puppy ones you can get at Wal mart and the next time she just turned away. She discovered her lab brother's dry kibble (Pedigree small bites) and loves it, she eats from his dish and nibbles all day long so some nights at supper she isn't very hungry, I figure she will be by morning. Sometimes I think too much needless thinking goes into picking out dog food. I'll probably get chewed out all over the place here, but what did dogs eat for years and stay healthy and playful and they didn't have all the fancy stuff. Sorry, I know I will hear about that.
