Okay, I'm just comparing the D5000 and D90 for you, here are what I think are the main points:
**D90 has "cinematic quality" video (LOL! Do we really need that? I mean COOL, but seriously....)
**same sensor (nice)
**same 11-point auto focus
**Might have same metering system, D90 might be slightly better (not sure on this one)
**D5000 has more ISO choices (100-6400) vs 200-3200
**Both have live view, but the D5000 also has this "tilt view" live view screen (if you look at that QVC link, and click on the add'l pics, you'll see it)
**both have Active D lighting
Okay...truly, I think what you're really paying for w/ the D90 (vs. the D5000) is the super-quality movie dealio. So unless that's a big deal for ya, I think I'd save the $400+ (for lenses!) and go for the D5000. Just my 2 cents.  |

I wouldn't have a clue which features I needed to be comparing. I'm going to go back to look at the QVC link for the D5000 but the "tilt view" sounds like a good thing to me. I certainly don't need cinema quality video, but I think the D5000 does video also? I'll make sure when I check the link again. Thank you!!!
