They had a rep at petsmart one day with a display and free samples set up and they had a glass of water on the table and put a piece of biljack in it and it sank right to the bottom, as opposed to the other brands they put in there that floated and swelled up in the water which is also what it does in the stomach. It's supposed to be good for their digestive system I think. We tried it and our dogs love it!!! I'll have to check the base it has, not sure.
The tear stains Bentley had a bad problem with were a brownish red color so when I read on here that the red beet pulp was in lots of dogs fooods and that it contributed to it it made sense because after we switched foods we don't have that problem anymore.
