I have hardwoods which are only very lightly sealed and those are a nightmare with accidents!

I also have carpet which has the usual problems and I have these amazing mexican tiles in the kitchen. My Hamish pees in there when we won't let him out to the pool where the rest of the family is (he is an anger pee-er!) and those floors are the absolute EASIEST to clean. Also, they never look dirty, even with a million teenager feet running back and forth from outside to inside, wet pool feet, damp dogs, you name it.

Now, if I could, I would do my whole house in tile, but, since thats probably impractical I am going to re-do in a very highly sealed hardwood.
