I chose Embrace because they cover LP and genetic conditions, and offer continuing care coverage, which most others do not. Embrace does not use a schedule to reimbuse, which I love - they reimburse the cost, less your deductible and co-insurance.

I disgaree that having insurance makes you spend more. The poision incident alone would have bankrupted me. It only takes one ER visit a year to make you (me) thankful for the policy.
I signed up with Embrace about 6 weeks ago for the exact reasons listed above, plus the fact that I could customize my coverage. I've haven't needed to use them yet, but I hope they are as good as their customer service was during enrollment. I'm so glad to see someone who's had a good experience with them. Having 5 yorkies, I'm more comfortable paying a set amount per month and knowing I have coverage, than I am worrying what would happen financially if more than one were to get sick or injured at the same time.
