I was really worried before Mija got spayed because since she is so small people kept telling me different things and putting different ideas in my head. I talked to my vet and they reassured me a lot. They told me they were used to the procedure because they often do it on really young kittens and such. During the operation she was constantly checked and her body temperature was controlled with a heated pad. Everything went perfectly and i'm really glad I had it done. She stayed overnight and when she came home she slept most of the day. The next day though she was a big ball of energy and she was practically back to normal! It only took her a few days more to be 100% back to normal! Mija had almost died when she was 3 months so I was also worried about that because I knew she was fragile so thats is another reason why we waited for her to be older. But i'm very happy I had it done. As for the feedings if she doesn't look or feel overweight, I wouldnt try to overfeed her. |
