 Update on Preterm labor

My sister logged on to YT asking for advise when I was on my way to Emergency vet. Izzie had a lot of green flluid and no puppy and I feared that the placentia was separating. Izzie had an emergency c-section, and had 2 little girls both were 4 oz, so I must have miscalculated. Only one of the girls survived, The little girl we lost had a very faint heart beat and a very distended belly, the vet says this is a sign that the heart did nt develope or the liver. when she tapped her belly after she died, it was full of blood. The other baby is being bottle fed since Izzie does not have milk yet, she did get an Oxi shot, so hopefully milk son. The baby is nursing on mom as well. Should I give her a taste of nutrical? I am so afraid of losing this baby too, and want to keep her strength up until Izzie's milk come. Thank you all for your prayers for Izzie and her babies. |
