Im so glad hes OK, I know how scary it can be.
one night me and my pups went to bed and while sleeping the newest pup came and jumped hard onto my stomach and it woke me up, she was wiggling around and I hurried and turned on the light. trying to wake up at first I knew some thing was wrong but what. I finally see her mouth open and there was nothing else I could do but reach in and grab what was stuck in her mouth, well it wasn't just stuck in her mouth but it was all the way down her throat and it was in there tight. It was an old raw hide that use to be the bigger dogs. she must of got up in the night and started chewing on it making it soggy/soft and some how choked. I remember pulling it out and thinking Oh My Gosh wheres the end. it just kept coming. its was very think and long about as long as a pop can. if she hadn't ran and jumped on my stomach to wake me up she would of choked to death. and there was no way she could of coughed some thing like that up. it was lodged. |
