I stuck my finger all the way to the back of his tongue (because I thought that I could feel the leaf piece) and inadvertently caused him to throw up his dinner -- a good size mass of junk.

He appears to be breathing normally and he has swallowed water, yogurt, peas, bits of lamb roll, and a few pieces of kibble after the episode. He was also eager to run around and play.

Could I have injured his throat with my finger? My baby weighs almost 8 pounds, but I still worry about his delicate throat.

What a scary experience!! I'm glad he's ok... I would not know what to do if Couver started to choke
