Dh and I were just hanging out at home, I gave Peanut this treat.. Kinda like a little "golden grahmn" looking treat.. Well Peanut bit the body and chewed and swallowed it...I was on the couch with Dh and I looked down at Peanut and he was like rubbing his eyes with his paw.. I knew something was wrong. I grabbed Pnut and put him on the counter top we both realized that he was choking. He wasnt breathing. Dh tried to stick his pinky down his throat, he said he felt it but wasnt able to get it. So DH grabbed Pnut and put his body in between under his arm took his fingers and closed pnut nose holes and pushed on his belly.... The treat popped out!! Of course it was the head of the treat!!! OMG I couldnt believe it!! If it was just me at the house I know I would have lost Pnut.
To this day I am so careful of what I give PNUT he still doesnt "chew" things so everything he gets is small for him just in case he swallow it hole!!! |
Wow, I'm impressed by the quick thinking. Kimbo choked once and I FREAKED out and cried like a maniac. DH had to take over from there. Mom was a hot mess.
