I think it might have been too loose if she got it in her mouth. Couver has always worn a collar, and I of course walk him on a harness, so it didn't take him anything to get used to it. It makes me feel better knowing that he has external id (he is also microchipped) so that anyone that finds him can call me asap.

I would just say have her wear it when you are around for a while to see how she gets used to it. Maybe take it off when you are not there for a while until she grows more into it, or you can tighten it enough so she cannot get it in her mouth.

That would be a scary experience!! I'm glad she's ok!
