Most laws can only be changed state by state...so first you have to understand your state laws. You might have to look up USDA and what the requirements are. Then begins the letter writing campaign to your congressman/senators. You might start searching the internet for groups in Oklahoma to see if they have already started campaigns. You can also join animal advocate organizations who lobby against some of the humane treatment..some organizations a large majority of people are against (Peta) and the Humane Society but you have to decide what you believe in. Best Friends is another organization that helps along with the Doris Day Foundation, Prisoners of Greed, and many, many others.
