Hi There,
We left our Bella for the first time this summer. We were gone for 2 weeks. She was 9 months old. We had a niece move in to our home and she was with Bella most of the day. Bella did fine. She ate well on the very first day which we had not planned on.
We worried alot. But, we got home, she greeted us with the enthusiasm she always has when we leave, and after 10 minutes it was back to life as normal and she didn't act like we had even been gone.
So, I learned that they are just fine if they have a caretaker that knows their routine and gives them lots of "hands on" affection. Bella definitely did not show ANY negative side effects from our absence.
So enjoy your trip and be ready for a warm welcome when you return.
