You need to find a way to get the meds in him..can you crush it and put it in peanutbutter and put it on the roof of his mouth. I do this. Dogs don't spit stuff out as a rule, they keep licking and swallowing to get it gone.
Ask the vet about a diet change to something bland when this happens. I feed chicken and rice for a few days. I also give them yogart, good for healthy bowel bacteria.
Don't worry about breaking any rules for posting when you dogs is sick..I don't think we have rules, except to "play nice"..let us know how your Yorkie is doing. |
