HELP???? My 3 yr old male yorkie is pooping soft stool with mucus and yellow stuff...he has been nauseated this morning and just vomitted clear white foamy/watery liquid. we will take him to vet tomorrow. but what can i do now to help his nausea/vomit?? he just tried to have a bowel movement but tried 3x without anything but a few millimeters long of gel-like clear mucus? Then he dragged his but on carpet. His anal glands were just emptied 2 wks ago by doc. when he had this 2 weeks ago nausea, vomit, and mucus/diareahha....... doc took stool sample and determined excess antimflam. bacteria and put him on metronidazole to clear up poop problem. BIG PROBLEM THOUGH....Spike wont eat the pill when we crush it and mix it in braunschwager like vet recommended!!! We can mask any other pill in this and he eats it, but he must smell this strong metronidazole script or something. what can i do to help his nausea/vomitting immediately??? We do have "antipuke" pill called Cimetidine that i am giving him b4 bed and this usually works to stop morning vomitting. HELP?!?!?!?! Sincerely, worried mom
