 Need advice please!!
Ok, I just did some recalculating and If all goes well, I will be bringing my new girl home on Nov 18th and not Nov 21st...YEAH!! My question is, how do I introduce her and Tucker. Tucker will be 17wks when she comes home and she will only be 6wks.. I wish that the breeder would keep her longer, but she doesn't so I have to get her or someone else will.. Anyways, I know that she will not be as rough as Tucker gets when he plays so I am concerned about letting them be together at first. I thought about letting her share Tucker's crate for the first few weeks since she will be so young and scared after losing her littermates.. But I know that Tucker won't leave her alone to rest, he'll wanna play all night with her and she won't be big enough to boss him..Do I need to keep them seperated until she is older? Should she have her own crate from the beginning and should I put her crate next to Tucker's or put her in another room away from his? Any advice would help..Thanks! |
