I know you are not trying to cause uproar, and you really can be helpful because lots of people are just like you, but don't admit it. There is nothing wrong with buying from a pet store before you know that there is a problem, but you implied you would do it again, and that's what I would like to understand. I didn't know any breeders until I started looking for Joey, did you not know where you look? Do you feel like you still don't know how to find a good affordable breeder close enough to you? Actually, you pay way more at a pet store than you would a private breeder.
