The judges are judging each yorkie according to the YTCA standard. If a yorkie has outstanding conformation then the judge will be forgiving of a little misbehavior in the show ring, especially with puppies. As long as the judge was able to see the dog move enough for him to evaluate the dogs movement, then the judge will put up the dog that he feels best conforms to the standard. Of course judges have a wide variation of opinions when it comes to what they perceive the ideal yorkie should look like. |
