It touched my heart to hear how determined you are to save this little kitten.
Years ago I found a tiny baby trapped in a storm drain; I flagged down a utility truck to lift the grate for me and searched in vain for his momma. Anyway, I wound up taking him home and keeping him for 15 years! His eyes weren't even open yet, so I bottle fed him formula and needed to rub his tummy regularly so that he would 'go' (in the absence of his mom, who would have licked him to stimulate this function). What a mess! I remember this continuing for many weeks.....I supplemented until the he was able to eat enough solid food to satisfy me that he was doing ok.
