 Weaning baby kittens
I have a 3 week old baby kitten and the mother doesnt seem to be nursing it as much and Im trying to introduce it to food gradually. I have taken canned food and mixed it with water and it wouldnt eat it. I have mixed the canned food with kitten formula and it wouldnt eat it, I put it on my finger and put it up to the kittens mouth and it licked it once but wouldnt anymore. What am I doing wrong and do kittens take naturally to weaning. I have lost 3 kittens out of this litter and this one is going to the vet tomorrow for a checkup. Im just nervous about weaning this baby |
