My auti does kinda the same thing as penpen when i leave her and go to wrk or a dr appt. i will come back and she will have the peepads with doodie dragging it around the xpen...i think she be on strike.. i caught her one day when i was going to take a shower and noticed soon as i put her in the xpen she started to take a dump and was biting the edge of the pad trying to get a grasp of it to pull it around but i stopped it quickly and i only leave her in there that long. when i go to wrk my mom comes to get her 1-2hrs later and i dnt be on dr appts no longer than an hour..I think its their way of saying "Hey I'll show you for putting me in here" or "Pay attention to me"
OP i cant really give u advice on the suject i'm still new at training my pup but good luck.
