Well, it is good to know that they can be trained not to bark so much. When my friend said that to me, all I could think about was that dog my neighbor's daughter had when she lived next door for a couple of months. I could not stand that dog (sorry). I don't know what kind of dog it was. A mixture of some sort. But it was small (like a chihuahua mix) and when she would see me she would go nuts. Like she was going to bite my heels. She wouldn't get too close but it was insane. I would hear her barking long after I had opened my door, went inside and closed it behind me. I don't want a dog like that.
